Message: <blockquote data-quote="ice" data-source="post: 2760759" data-attributes="member: 219108"><p>I am using T-Mobile service with an unlocked Sharp FX Plus and noticed I was always getting only Edge data.  I googled how to get 3G but was told AT&T phones can't get 3G on T-Mobile since they can't connect to the 1700mhz frequency.  But after messing with things and eventually changing everything back to normal again, my phone now shows it is connecting to 3G!  How is this possible?  My wife's unlocked Samsung Captivate Glide continues to be stuck on Edge (also on T-Mobile).  My data really is faster too.  I compared browsing to the same site side by side and there is no comparison.  How is it possible that mine can connect to 3G?  And how can I get hers on 3G as well?</p></blockquote><p></p>
