I just got a new phone- the nokia 5230 nuron. I couldn't get any service in offline mode, it only would say "emergency calls only."
I tried switching it to "online mode" and now I get service. My worry is that, because it is "online" i will be paying for the internet, which is not part of my plan.
My question is, does "online mode" literally mean online, meaning I'll have an insane bill at the end of the month?
Or is it just a dumb way to say "your phone is on and within your plan"
