T-Mobile Pre-Paid Phone On A Contract Plan?

I was wondering if you could use a T-Mobile pre-paid phone with a T-Mobile contract plan?
Thanks. But doesn't matter if they don't have that big of a variety cause I already got the phone picked out. T-Mobile Samsung Galaxy S2 from Wal-Mart for only 80 bucks on black Friday. Comes with a 100 dollar Wal-Mart gift card.
