T-Mobile Sidekick LX question?

Hello, i really want the sidekick lx by t-mobile. my mom says she cannot get it for me until her contract expires so she can renew it or something. anyway, i can't lay my hands on this phone until somewhere between novemeber or december of 2008 :[
my question is, will it still be available by that time, or will it be gone?? and how do we know if a phone is no longer for sale and stuff like that?

I had an old school sidekick from when they first came out... my kid flushed it so I had to get a new one...

T-Mobile has upgrades offered at like 6 months to 11 months. I didn't qualify so I bought a new sidekick slide... if you go to the website you can see what phones are available and for how much. Your mom can go into a store or call and see if she qualifies for an upgrade. If not you can still buy a new phone but you have to pay FULL price.

by the time your moms contract expires there might be a newer better phone on the market...
