the banks and? what will the repercussions be in the future?

Chancellor Alistair Darling is set to wipe away bad assets in the banks to free up cash and encourage them to start lending again.

This means £500 billion worth of bad loans and investments made by the banks will disappear - the burden of which lays firmly in taxpayers' pockets.

high inflation will be on the way to counteract the quantatative easing {money printin} wee will need a suitcase of money to buy a loaf of bread.
and there wot be enough gold in the treasury to cover the electronic payments either as all money is only a reciept for the amount of gold that you personally own, right now we have plenty of paper but no assetts
