Taylor Momsen (Gossip Girl: Jenny Humphrey) curly hair?

How can I get my hair like this? It's exactly the same length as hers. But when I curl it, it always looks bad.
Also, what size curling iron, and would it make a difference if used a spiral curling iron, or a normal one? Thanks =)

That's not curly hair, it just has alot of volume and is layered. Use a volumising shampoo and conditioner and brush or blow dry your hair upside down.
 
jeez she REALLY needs her roots re-dyed in the first pic.
It's not too curly, so you could probably curl it using a straightener. Basically put you hair in the straightener, then while holding it vertically, twist some hair around it.
