Ok It has been really cold her lately..When out the other morning and tried to start my car but battery went dead. Call for a jump but now it will not turn over at all even with a booste. It is a manual trans and it is like I am not pushing the clutch in.
Any ideas what could be wrong? IT is a new clutch had feul conditioner in it. Dash lights and clock all work just will not turn over. No clicking or anything.

Here's how you check if its the battery or starter. When getting a boost make sure you have thick cables that can carry the amperage over to the car your trying to start. and of coarse the contact from your old battery to the motor are clean. Poor connection from your old battery usually causes your battery to fail because your alternator cannot recharge the battery.
So here's the test.
Boost the car . while being boosted turn on your wipers and inside heater fan. Turn the key to start. If the FAN AND WIPERS SLOW down or stop completely its your connection or the cables cannot carry enough amperage to boost. You have to charge the battery for a while.
If everything is ok check the INLINE fuse to the starter it may be blown otherwise it could be solenoid or starter. Jumping the starter with a Hot lead can diagnose this problem. Make sure the car is in neutral. Also check the neutral switch it will also give the symptoms of bad starter
