Alma 39:15
And now, my son, I would say somewhat unto you concerning the coming of Christ. Behold, I say unto you, that it is he that surely shall come to take away the sins of the world; yea, he cometh to declare glad tidings of salvation unto his people.

What do you think about this teaching??
Did you know the Book of Mormon teaches this?
Did you know the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints teach this?

Yes, I knew that,,, but they also teach that He is from Kolob, and that saved men become equal to the Messiah, and saved women give birth to new worlds. Having a part of truth does not indicate truth. The adversary knows how to mix truth and error to deceive people.

Badly written. How many times does he have to tell his son that he's about to tell him something?

By the way, we see your tactics. You are trying to make Mormonism look like Christianity. I take it you won't be mentioning how God is an alien from Kolob or how Jesus is the Devil's brother, and how we all get to be own own god over our own planet someday.

Didn't think so.

I think it is silly. I think most of what Joseph Smith had to say was. What are you trying to say Mormons are Christians or we should be moved by this in some way? Is this another lame attempt to make Mormons seem like a main stream religion. I am not a christian so it reads like any other fictional reading.
Yes I know Mormons teach this and its in the Book of Mormon. They also teach about secret temple ceremonies, keeping covenants by wearing holy underwear, magical preisthood superpowers, and old businessmen in SLC that talk regularly with god. They also when presented with facts discrediting their beliefs ask people to ignore the facts and accept things on faith. They have a long list of other kooky beliefs that do little more than support the continuous delusion that they live in.

I've read the Book of Mormon and I know what it says. It was cleverly written to mock the bible.

It has verses about skin color as a curse too. Why don't you teach us that?

2 Nephi 5:21-23:

"And he had caused the cursing to come upon them, yea, even a sore cursing, because of their iniquity. For behold, they had hardened their hearts against him, that they had become like unto a flint; wherefore, as they were white, and exceedingly fair and delightsome, that they might not be enticing unto my people the Lord God did cause a skin of blackness to come upon them."

It has none of the more interesting doctrine like baptism for the dead, sacred underwear, secret temple ceremonies, becoming gods, 3 levels of heaven. Those were invented later.
