u know how people in medieval times will think ur a witch if u tell them there is a object people can see through but strong enough to block bullets (ballistic glass)? what technology (200-500 yrs later) in the future do u think we might find that its "out of this world"?

so far in the future it is impossible to tell

everything still has to obey the laws of nature

Edison in the 1870s would NOT be surprised by anything today because the basic discoveries had been made or were considered possible.. A computer is just a fancy telegraph

I would be amazed at true mental telepathy, non technical mind contact

control and understanding of gravity

Faster than light travel (un likely)

I expect DNA control of human evolution

true artificial intelligence like "DATA" in star trek'

Computers that insta-load.. Haha. Well, and teleportation - But that seems more possible on small-scale. Larger scale would have to recreate the structure... Then make sure they act accordingly as before. Imagine the horror of being transported, everything seemingly intact.. But you have no memory -.-

Uhh... I could see something similar to immortality. Not ..Exactly, but keeping youth for a longer time. I suppose if we came to the conclusion of how we die, its possible. Haha... The first person to use up all their brain-space. Doubt it.. but would be somewhat laughable.

Dunno.. I cannot really say I would ever be too surprised at many things. There are some few things, but they are not related to technology per say
