texting on tmobile?

im going on vacation to costa rica soon. does it cost extra to text people in my family plan back home in new jersey when im there?
also...can i text my friends that have verizon? how much does it cost? i have 500 texts for 4.99. links if possible
how much extra does it cost to text poeple out when you are out of the country?...

btw i know its in the wrong section
