Texting to the US from Canada with Telus?

I have an iPhone 4 with unlimited texting. Will I be charged for texting back and forth between someone in the United States?
 
That may depend. If the person that you know and will be texting in California has a Canadian area code or phone number then no. you will not be charged. If not then I guess the only real way of knowing would be going to your phone provider store and asking them if fee's would occur in your situation. I would guess no but I've been wrong before.
