I was watching a movie, and it started out with some lady saying "and that car accident changed my life forever".
Is it just me, or does this sentence make no sense when you think about it?
you always see people having "life-changing experiences" blah blah
but doesn't EVERY LITTLE THING you do in life change life? like eating a bowl of cereal, that changed your life by putting food in your body because if you hadn't you would've died.
or going to the bathroom to pee, if you didn't your kidney would have burst
so aren't all small little things "life changing"? not just big dramatic events.
and what is up with the "changed my life forever" thing, because life isn't forever, you die, so life can't be changed forever, unless life goes on forever. right?
