The best way to fight illegal RIAA practices? Intruding personal property by RIAA and others isn't right according to the law. No one can break in or listen to packet transferred between computers to sue you ( unless you are NSA hehe )What would be the best ( legal ) way of keeping RIAA and companies like BayTPS out of your computer? Please don't post answers like - don't download illegal stuff. I am looking for a bit smarter answers. I am aware of peerguardian and detailed config of p2p programs. Anything else that I am missing ? I usually run eMule and bittor.I am wondering about some smart tunneling, or use of proxies, sockets, but I am not sure if that's possible with p2p.oh, of course it would be good to have this pleasure without dropping more than a dollar :)

I really like PeerGuardian2. The project hasn't seen much development lately, but might still be useful.http://phoenixlabs.org/pg2/

If you think they are commiting a crime against you hire a team of lawyers and file suite to stop them.
