The brake lights work on my 2000 toyota solara, but the tail lights do not.?

The brake lights and tail lights use the same bulb. So I do not know why the brake lights work.. but the tail lights do not.
The brake lights and tail lights use the same bulb. I bought new light bulbs today, and I replaced the 10A fuse. Every time I turn on the lights, the fuse burns out. The brake light works, but the tail light does not.

They might use the same bulb, but there is two filaments in it.
Make sure the fuse is good and check the bulbs with an ohmmeter; the base to each button on the bottom.
