The chime or little bell that goes on when you open the doors doesn't work.?

I have 2008 chevy silverado crew cab 4.8 .The door chime quit working recently. Also the sound the signal lights should make when making a left or right hand turn doesn't work either. Some how they are connected. Anyway, can someone tell me how it can be fixed? Thanks.
