The establishment and media are afraid of Ron Paul

Why you might ask? Because he is the ONLY candidate running for president that is NOT heavily supported by private bankers, wallstreeters, and special interest corporations, the same people that heavily fund the mainstream media. They are bankrupting us. There's a blatant media blackout/misrepresentation of him. One for example is in one of the last debates they only gave him merely 89 seconds of speaking time in an hour and 40 minute debate. The media down-grades him or relays information that is not true about his stances; for instance like the media calling him an isolationist. He is a non-interventionist! Two completely different stances! His main funding comes from active miltary (in other words he has way more total active military support than all of the other candidates COMBINED), and people like you and me! He was the first in line to oppose the NDAA, and took time off of campaigning to also be first in line to speak against the SOPA/PIPA acts. He is the only candidate with military, medical, AND economics experience. He want's to end all of these ridiculous wars based on lies and deceit. Cut a trillion dollars in year one, and balance the budget in three? He has a FULL plan. He's the only one fighting for our liberty, rights and sound money! He is fighting for WE the people! Ron Paul is NOT for sale like 99% of these other politicians. He would take $40,000 a year salary as president as opposed to the current president's $400,000 a year salary. He gives money back to the treasury every year that he and his campaign doesn't use, which sometimes is in excess of $50,000. Even though he's been in Congress for over 20 years he refuses to accept a Congressional pension because he believes it would be immoral. He is the ONLY one upholding his oath to defend and protect the Constitution. He has 100% Constitutional voting record, and even has the document memorized.

In 2012 will Americans declare Independence from politics-as-usual, partisan grandstanding, and special interest lobbying, or will they remain divided by faulty labels and deceived by defective rhetoric? Will they side with big banks, or small business? Will they allow the continued consolidation of power in the hands of a few, or will they support the kind of localism that empowers the people at the community level? And most urgently, will they start asking all these questions about their political candidates and earnestly searching for information in these candidates' records to learn the answers? If not, voters in 2012 might find themselves choosing between two partisan versions of the same kind of candidate and then we ALL lose. Look, the truth is that another four years of Barack Obama would be a complete and total nightmare. But so would four years of Mitt Romney or Newt Gingrich. America deserves better than the "lesser of two evils". Unfortunately, the American people have been dead asleep and have been sending incompetents, con men and charlatans to Washington D.C. for decades. I find it disturbing to listen to the candidates discuss morality, the rule of law, and our Constitution, yet all of them support undeclared, unconstitutional wars, phony money, bailouts, patriot acts, and promoting peace through the barrel of a gun...except of course, Ron Paul, who stands on principle and the rule of law for 35 years consistently whether popular or not.... now that is a true leader. He has stood apart from the rest, stood strong and true, voting against every tax increase, every unbalanced budget, every bailout, every time. Standing up to the Washington machine, guided by principle, Ron Paul is the one who will stop the spending, save the dollar, create jobs, bring peace. The one who will restore liberty. I hope things in 2012 will be different. Write him in on the ballot if he isn't on it during the general election. Yes, you can do that! Please, at the very least do some in-depth research about one of the only consistant, honest, genuine politicians left in this corrupt government.

In addition:

To those who disagree with me about Ron Paul:

Ron Paul said that when America seeks war, it must be sought only to protect citizens, it must be declared by the U.S. Congress, and it must be concluded when the victory is complete as previously planned, which would allow all resources to be dedicated to victory; he added, "The American public deserves clear goals and a definite exit strategy in Iraq."
...Is this what you disagree with?

Ron Paul is a proponent of free trade and rejects protectionism, advocating "conducting open trade, travel, communication, and diplomacy with other nations". He opposes many free trade agreements (FTAs), like the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA), stating that "free-trade agreements are really managed trade" and serve special interests and big business, not citizens.
...Is this what you disagree with?

Ron Paul believes the size of federal government must be decreased substantially. In order to restrict the federal government to what he believes are its Constitutionally authorized functions.
...Is this what you disagree with?

Ron Paul believes that inflation is caused by the Federal Reserve inflating the money supply thereby eroding the value of individual savings, that this creation of inflation leads to booms and busts in the economy. Thus Paul argues that government, via a central bank (the Federal Reserve), is the primary cause of economic recessions and depressions. He believes that economic volatility is decreased when the free market determines interest rates and money supply.
...Is this what you disagree with?

Ron Paul adheres deeply to Austrian School economics and libertarian criticism of fractional-reserve banking, opposing fiat currency and the inflation thereof. Paul opposes inflation as an underhanded form of taxation, because it takes value away from the money that individuals hold without having to directly tax them. He sees the creation of the Federal Reserve, and its ability to "print money out of thin air" without commodity backing, as responsible for eroding the value of money. The Federal Reserve has devalued our currency by 95% since it was instituted back in 1913.
...Is this what you disagree with?

Ron Paul argued that the purpose of the Second Amendment is to place a check on government tyranny, not to merely grant hunting rights or allow self-defense.
...Is this what you disagree with?

I suggest that if you believe in the American Constitution as designed by the Founding Fathers of our country, you would have a hard time disagreeing with Ron Paul's ideas. So what is the reason YOU have for not voting for him as president of our country???
