...insurance rate go up due to this? I live in Wisconsin. This is my first ticket ever and I'm 30. How will this affect my car insurance? I have Progressive. How much might it go up? Or is it possible they will let the first one slide? Do I have to report this to my car insurance, or do they look up one's record once their insurance renews? How long do I have to wait for this citation to be off my record?
