The recipe calls for white wine vinegar...?

I have regular white vinegar (is that the same?) i also have red wine vinegar and balsamic vinegar lol , what would be the best substitute for white wine vinegar for a steak marinade?

I think the red wine vinegar is the best substitute.

White vinegar and white wine vinegar are NOT the same thing, though.
