Well the thing is I'm going to Italy on a school trip in a couple of weeks and I was wondering which of these two tablets would be the most appropriate. The flight takes approximately 16 hours and I wanted something that I could watch movies on without any hassle. I would also need it to transfer photos from my camera to the tablet as I will not be able to bring my Macbook Pro with me. I really like the iPad but it does lack a bit of things such as ease of video playback as not all my videos are mp4s and I'm really curious about the Note's S-Pen capabilities and massive amount of features but it's got a pretty low ppi of 149, especially compared to the iPad's retina display and its battery lasts approximately 8 hours compared to the iPad's almost 10 hour battery life which would be very useful on the long flight and days of walking around.
