So to delve into a character is one of many experiences, and what better portrayal to lose yourself in but a character from the Twilight Saga. Now the odds are against me, and fate hasn’t found her way (yet)…I’d love to audition for a role in the film, but that’s as far as it goes, because Australians aren’t considered to audition. I’m a no one, an everyday (want to be) actor, so I’m not going to write here; “I want to audition for Breaking Dawn, how do I do it?!”. Because, it ain’t going to happen, sister, (or brother). Not that I wouldn’t jump at the chance to audition. I would! But, I see the reality. An unheard of Aussie girl can’t audition for the Twilight Saga. Ok, now that that’s been said. Let’s talk a little more…ok, well, I will… I’m tired of hearing people saying they want to audition for this and that role. At the end of the day, it comes down to, is acting your life? Do you live for this timeless art form? Does immersing yourself in anther persona make you feel happy, because you’re telling a story so precious, that it has to be told down to the finest point? If you’ve answered “yes” (as have I), then, follow acting! Now, my intentions for writing/publishing this little euphemism need not be monotonous, but I just need to establish this point. Why do people act, if they just want to acquire fame? It’s ludicrous. I mean, of course, fame and an established acting career are inevitable. But for those of you guys who love acting, why should you be drowned in an audition room with crazy fans, who just want to meet Robert Pattinson or whatever? I’m totally full of boredom at the moment, so this is all said in the nicest manner. I’m just establishing something that I think needs to be said. Debate, or let me know if I (an unheard of Australian actor) can audition (hypocritical, I know, but it’s worth a shot, to ask for audition info.)
