What do you expect to see on a beach? Crowded?,Sun?,Ice cream? and children playing? my answer would have been yes during the summer, but i KNOW it's not going to be the same. My pathetic sister actually believes it Will be identical to the one we went to in the summer. Our parents are too anxious to tell her it won't be , because we are going to a creepy , unattractive beach in the winter! When we actually arrived my sister went berserk bawling and whimpering! She demanded we went back home immediately. I saw a glimmer of hope, but to my disappointment we stayed. The beach was totally deserted! A sea of litter covered the sand , gusts of winds were stinging my face flying at fast speeds. Seagulls flew directly above screeching over the rustle of the wind. Abruptly, the tide came in whooshing over my head knocking me flat onto the sand. I screeched and I could hear the distant thuds of feet in the sand racing towards me. The water lazily slid off me leaving a salty taste on my lips and my body smelling of damp sea weed. My little sister was in hysterics laughing until she reached me and started screaming and scrambled away. I glared at the spot on my stomach that terrified my sister so much. There lying calmly was a dainty, adorable crab. The poor creature was thrust out from the ocean coated in oil! Mum and Dad wandered off as soon as they knew I was still alive. I could see the flash of the camera in the corner of my eye every now and again, but i was too distracted playing with my new pet crab Shelly. I cleaned her up and at the end of the day I begged and pleaded to take her home. My sister looked so smug as she thought Mum and Dad would actually take her opinion iintoconsideration. She was so shocked when they said I could keep Shelly. So now it's me and Shelly together forever (Hopefully!)
