Very true. And I dont. Hell I dont even ask for help, I usually handle my own business. I made the mistake of asking someone to help me with something they could have easily helped with and instead I got a world of grief. Yet, for the last ten years every time this person has been on an emotional ledge, I've talked him down. Hours and endless hours over this girl or that girl, this employee or that employee (he owns his own companies - plural. Brings home about a million a year). In the car, at work, at home in the morning, at night, it was exhausting. Asked this guy for one favor and he treated me like absolute dirt. Lesson learned. I knew there was a reason I never asked for help. I should thank him for the reminder. Thing is, it was such a small thing. It wasn't money or anything like that. At first he was all for it, but then, when I expected him to come through as promised he tried to play it off as I only ever befriended him for his money. I laughed at that because I knew him when he made $24k a year selling cars at Carmax. In fact, come to think of it, he actually owes ME money! LMAO - now THATS rich! I wish I would have remembered that prior to telling him to go pound sand! TOO FUNNY!!!
