I have wanted a Ninja for a while now. I have seen a 2007 Ninja 250R for $1995 and it has 7,400 miles on it. I would be new to riding the bike on the street but if it the same as riding a dirtbike then I'll be fairly comfortable with riding. The dirtbike I used to ride was a honda 100CRF and I have spent some time on a honda 450 CRF. I have been reading around and it seem most people get bored with these smaller bikes. I'll be using it to get to work mostly but I want to drive it up to San Jose, CA from Phoenix, AZ and was wondering if anyone had had any problems with driving that far in one sitting it would be about 685 miles? I'm 5"11 and weight 140 is this bike too small? I am going to check out the bike on Monday but any help would be appreciated. Any tips you have for a novice rider would be cool too. Thank you.
