Looking for some websites for research purposes. This is what I have thought of so far. I want this motor for sure http://www.strokermotor.com/383425TK.htm and I need advise on a transmission to link up with it. I also know I want a posi-tronic rear-end but I don't know which one. I know I am going to go with dual-exhaust of course most likely straight pipe. Would it be very difficult to install a rack and pinion type steering or is it not worth it and i should just stick with what came stock? Also, with the upgraded drivetrain I expect I will need to beef up my suspension... any thoughts on this? Thanks.

If you want to get a v8 then trade what you have for a v8 you will be able to buy 2 trucks for what you would spend building one, you don't even know what goes together. go 10 years newer and you will be very happy with the changes.

well personally i would go with a 350 turbo tranny they hold up extremly well under many different conditions.
as for the rear end it would be easier to just get a mini spool.
as for the steering i would stick with whats there.
there suspension should be alright, but heavier springs might help with the front end sag
