I personally hate it. How someone can take a completely realistic story and make it into this junked up version so their Mary Sue self inserts can get paired up with their beloved characters. But I wanted to take a crack at one xD I want to still make it somewhat realistic in the sense where they have to go back to their time, unlike most time travel fics I've seen.
Question here though:
I had a worked out ending where they do get back to the past but then the main couple of the story meets back up. When they were sent to the future, the female was in her late twenties (27 I'd planned on), but bvy the time he made it to her time he'd be in his late fifties. So ending the story even with them meeting up, he'd be an old wrinkled bag of nastyness and she'd still be young. With it ending right there and people ignoring the ages, it could be sort of cute. Thinking of it logically does it seem too ... sick? I thought so, but I'm asking you all instead.
It is just a silly fanfiction.
Does anyone have any ideas on how a romantic time travel fic could end well?
