wow, sounds like you had a bad dream. well time travel could be possible i suppose. here's what i understand and make of it:
light is photons.
photons travel at speed c the speed of light.
photons are said to disapear around speed c.
it could be said that beyond speed c, they disapear, and when they drop below speed c, they appear.
as an object (made of atoms) approaches speed c, its relative time slows down.
at speed c, relative time stops.
beyond speed c, the object might disapear like photons.
where does it go?
well, if time slows down the faster you go up to 0 relative time at speed c, maybe when photons disapear they are travelling back time, then when they slow down they temporarily settle in a parallel world.
maybe the object would do the same? as for travelling forward, just ride slightly below light speed and you will age incredibly slower than anyone else therefore in 1 hour you might travel 2 years forward.
