Tips for a makeup newbie?

I want to start wearing makeup, and I have no clue how to find out what shades best match my face, and what different types of makeup would work best for me. How can I find this out?
 
i would say start off by going to like CVS or walgreens. Find out your shade with the cheapy makeup. The best way is to start natural. Once you find out if your comfortable with makeup go for a brand you really like. I like bare minerals and Mac.
 
just highlight one part of your face at a time. Just put mascara for the start. a bit of blush later, a little change in lipcolor goes a long way. Remember when you put the makeup on, YOU ARE NOT SUPPOSED TO SEE THE MAKEUP, ONLY THE EFFECTS OF IT.

i suggest you borrow a book from the library on how to do makeup, and maybe take some makeup classes.... ask your parents, and tell them you really want to learn how to do makeup.

well, honey that depends on the color of your skin and eyes so i can't help you till you give me more details.
for advice, if u just start wearing makeup, put just eyeliner and gloss.
 
well all you have to do is, go to a local drugstore like macy or target, shoppers, they have a booth there and ask them question that want to be answer, and they might even give u a free makeup over :)
 
Youtube is your new best friend! Remember less is more when it comes to makeup! nobody likes a clown face :D other than that experiment and go crazy
