I put a hack on my big guy and he woahs beautifully but lacks in the turning department. I put his tomthumb snaffel on and he rocks socks on turning but takes forever to stop or he will fight it and pull past the bit. Found a gag hack that has the basic dog bone snaffel (not a twisted dog bone snaffel) and the typical rawhide covered hack, my thought is if one works better for turning and one works better for stopping a gag hack should be the answer to my issues... right?

If you wanted the horse to gag all you had to do was take your shoes off in front of it. *Badda Boom*

myhoo sort it out, if you have nothing good to say then don't. ok so there is all sorts of gag bits and not quite sure what 1 your talking about? the 3 ring gags are good, but for an extremely versatile bit your probably better off with a long shank hackamore. :)
