im supposedly 5'10" idk have not checked recently. i weigh 200 lbs. and i want to lose all this "baby fat" and keep it off FOREVER lol. any fitness regimes you guys recommend for me to do continuously i wanna be in the 140's or so. full muscular. by august. anything thing that makes me lose weight that fast?

Well, the number you should be looking for would body fat percentage. Its how much fat covering your muscles, so the less you have of it, the more visible, defined, hard and toned your muscles will look like.

For males, 10% will give you a flat stomach and no excess fat anywhere. Although it is still enough to fill up the cracks of your abs.

6-7% will give you a body fat so low it won't even be enough to cover your six-pack

6-7% = six-pack + toned muscular body

Go to a gym, hospital or health center and ask them to take your body fat percentage (using a body fat calculator) and see where you are now and how long do you have to go.

To lose body fat only you need:
1) Diet: Eat less than you burn or your body won't go near your body fat (why would it?)
2) Cardio: The only way to lose body fat, and also to lose muscle.
3) Weight training: To stop cardio from burning muscle and keep it as it is.

Now, for the tricky part. Body fat percentage isn't really a number, it's a ratio. It means it depends on 2 numbers: fat weight, and muscle weight.

Fat weight goes up, body fat % goes up
Fat weight goes down, body fat % goes down
Muscle weight goes up, body fat % goes DOWN
Muscle weight goes down, body fat % goes UP

Technically, you can't lose fat and gain muscle at the same time (gain and lose weight at the same time?? :P), so the only problem would be losing both fat and muscle at the same time, because that will keep your body fat % the same.

Check your body fat % every week to see how things are going:

If you gain fat or muscle, it means you are still eating too much (gain means eating too much).
If you lose fat and muscle, it means you are not working out your body with weights properly.
If you lose muscle and the fat doesn't change, it means you are eating way too low and your body is holding the fat for emergencies (starvation mode. Metabolism lock down). Which means you should eat a bit more.
If you are losing fat and no muscle lost, then you're perfect :D

How long to get a six-pack depends on how high is your body fat %. You can lose enough body fat by August to look amazing (compared to before), but if you haven't gotten it to 6-7% it will take you few more months.

Hope this helps :)
