Too old to audition for JYP and/or be an "idol?"?

Hello everyone,

So I'm planning on auditioning for JYP. The problem is I'm already 24 years old and turning twenty-five this April 2010. I can sing pretty decently, but I can't dance. I'm Sangley-American (Chinese-Filipino, but American in paper) and I currently teach English here in Korea. I'm 160 cm and 45 kg. I speak basic Korean, but I'm currently studying two hours a day, so no worries on that.

With these qualifications, do I even stand a chance? I know they're looking for someone no older than 27 or something in their audition poster, but I haven't really seen an artist from JYP who debuted after they're 22 or something. Everyone debuts young and they've been training for YEARS.

What do you think? Are there other companies that's more open to older hopefuls like YG or SM? Thanks!
