Hi I've never downloaded a .torrent file before and the first one I try is over 6GB (which is taking for ever unfortunately) and in that file are a number of mp3's (not music) which seem to skip chunks when previewed. iTunes stop at the first skip but when previewed outside of iTunes some of them play but every 5 or 10 seconds it jumps to a little further on in the track. My question is, is this normal? I read up a little on .torrent and if I read and understood correctly then I think it downloads small random chunks of the files enclosed; which if true might explain the jumps (here's hoping!). If that's not true then chances are I'm downloading 6GB+ of crap :,S I'm 18% through so far and have yet found a complete and good quality file. I have tried to do some research before asking this including looking on wikipedia but couldn't find anything that confirmed that skips in mp3's when previewing are sorted once the whole batch has downloaded. Thanks
