Hi, I have a question.

Before reading the story, I realize I made a mistake. my actions were irresponsible, and it will never happen again. I feel ashamed.

The Story:

I live in an apartment, and one night I parked at the visitor's parking lot, because I drank a bit too much. (I was going to repark my car next morning. I didn't want to risk parking at the residents, because there are too many cars. I put on my visitor's pass to avoid towing. (since the policy is owners/residents cannot park at the visitor's parking lot.)

So around 3am, the owner/manager of the apartment called the towing company, and this guy came and towed my car. ( I found out next day ) I paid $150 dollars to get it back the next day.

My problem:
1) My car was broken in by the tow driver, to lock my transmission.
* But my car was kept inside their garage, so I dont see the point.

2) The tow truck driver drank coffee in my car.
* I found that out after I picked up my car. There was fresh coffee spills on my cup holder.

So after I got my car back, the resident calls me and says " I puked all over the carpet last night near my door." and now hes charging me $120 dollars, and he won't even show me any kind of proof that it costed $120 dollars to clean up.

Today, I sent the manager an email saying that, Im not paying a cent because:

1) It was unfair that only my car got towed, because other home owners parked their cars near mine. In my apartment, many home owners abuse the policy, but the manager lets them all go. So I dont think it is fair that mine had to get towed.

2) The manager called the tow company to tow my car, but the tow company was not professional. (break in + drievr drinking coffee in my car and leaving fresh coffee marks on my cup holder)

3) I refuse to pay $120 because i think the whole process was unfair. I already paid $150 to get my car back. My car got broken into, although I was a resident. The tow driver drank coffee inside my car. Finally, they are not showing me any proof of how the cleaning led up to $120.

Will my defence stand? or I will end up losing this?
