there is a squeaking noise coming from the front left of my car. it sounds like its coming from underneath the shock. it sounds like rubber

That could be the stoppers under the hood, With the hood closed, push down on it. If there is any play that is probably the problem. Just adjust them and you will be good. If thet doesn't work, try looking at the struts in the front, if there is any leakage that is the problem. Good luck.
