I am a dog trainer living in a very rural area where people also do not have much money. I did have dog trainer liability insurance but had to get rid of it because business was slow and never saw a penny of the money I made because it went for the insurance. I had to finally get rid of it. Now, I have a person who wants his dog trained and I am worried, yet want to help this person out. I know many trainers do not have insurance but I cannot relax thinking about "what if". My busines is an LLC which should protect me but still, not sure up to what point. I am thinking to let it go, give up my career, until I have the funds to move to a better place, but these people contacting me need me and I love my job so much!!!!!!!!. I cannot do it for free, I need so badly recuperate the money I spent for the insurance and other costs for getting certified (I have two certifications, plus spent money for workshops, seminars etc.), any tips? Any other trainers working with no insurance? worried as heck. and very sad..
