Heres the deal. I purchased a 2003 PT Cruiser back in June of 2008 with 92k miles on it. After a few commutes here and there I now have approximately 95k on it.
Heres the really bad news. I transmission failed on me and according to a mechanic, it is going to cost me approximately $2,750 to rebuild the transmission.
Yes it gets even worse for me. I have a loan out for the car and I still owe about $4,000 on it. I don't really think that this car is worth fixing up and unfortunately I've learned my mistake. There is no warranty on the car. Is there any thing that could be done for me at this point. Being that I haven't even had the car for a year, I mean is anything possible for me?
