The boyfriend and I might be able to get a couple of weeks off toward the end of July and want to plan a quick trip to Bavaria. I am very familiar with traveling throughout the UK but am not so familiar with Europe.We did do one trip to Spain via London as using a hopper flight from the UK proved to be cheaper than flying non stop from LAX into Spain. So I'm hoping to do something similar to that into Bavaria but I'm not sure which of the small airlines in the UK would be best to look into for deals going from London to Bavaria. I have flying miles with Virgin Atlantic, so it's usually best for me to fly into Heathrow from LAX. We could either take a few days in London, which we love, or we could just hop straight on through. Any advice on what small airlines to focus on for traveling into Bavaria would be appreciated. Or, if it is more efficient to fly into Munich and take a train into Bavaria, that could work as well, as there are other parts of Germany I'd like to see. This will be a short trip and we don't have a whole lot of money. Unfortunately, since it's high tourist season, I'm not sure what our options are but I'm hoping for the best! Any advice is much appreciated!
