Tread depth on tires on a Dodge van?

I have a Dodge Grand Caravan sxt that has a tire tread depth of 3/32 ".
There are about 30,000 mi on these tires and I'm wondering if they are good for a 3.000 mi road trip.

Sounds as if 3,000 miles is all those tires got left. But as long as the tread doesn't go below 2/32" they should be fine. I would definitely make sure the tire pressure is correct and the front end is aligned properly.
 
Tires are usually conidered junk at 2/32 so you are pretty much there. If possible, you should buy a new set or at least a set of good used ones. New ones can get expensive, but a nice set of used ones should run about $120.

-I drove with bad tires comming back from mexico, blew a tire in Las Cruces, NM and couldn't find anyone open at midnight. Drove with "bad" spare and it blew near the AZ border. Had to pay $270 for a 9 mile tow and 2 USED tires; plus I had to wait for 3 hours next to the highway for daylight to avoid an $80 "after hours fee."
