I have been using Trend Micro for 3 years now and I am not switchin back, one reason comes to mind is:

The Kaspersky and NOD32 programs provide a better combination of protection and low use of system resources, but Trend Micro Antivirus is a viable alternative if you're having a lot of trouble with software conflicts.
