Amelia, Eli, Leah, Jared, Kaila, Nora, Rahoul, Willy, and Zachary have learned that a topical rain forest gets the most rain during the month of January . As part of there study of the environment, they are comparing the January precipitation in major US cities to the 24 inches of rain typically found in a tropical rain forest during this wettest month. The information that they had was included in the following chart.

Boston: 3.99
Casper: 0.50
Charleston: 3.33
Dallas: 1.65
Des Moines: 1.01
Houston: 3.21
Kansas City: 1.08
Phoenix: 0.73
Seattle: 6.04

Each student has researched one US city. Which City did each student research?
-Although the city Jared researched receives almost twice as much rain as Amelia's city, Jared's city gets approximately 1/4 the january rainfall of a typical rain forest.
-Leah's city is in the same state as Amelia's city, and receives about half as much precipitation in January as Kaila's city.
-Nora's city gets about 1/3 the precipitation of Amelia's City.
-Eli's city gets less that half the amount of precipitation of Willy's city.
-Zachary's city gets .66 inch more rainfall each January than Kaila's city.
