Trouble accessing certain blackberry apps?

I have a brand new blackberry torch. On a vodaphone contract, with 750mb of 3g internet a month and unlimited blackberry emai. I updated the facebook app to the lastest, and downloaded ebay App and both apps won't work saying: you are currently on a service plan that does not support this application. I wondered why and what to do? Also can you downgrade apps once you have updated them?
