My son has a 1959 Ford pick up. It has an engine overheating problem. He has changed water pump, thermostat Still overheating.

the oil flow might be bad or it could be low on coolant. check the oil and coolant and check for coolant/oil blocks. also the radiator could be broken or the fan. what he could do to check the fan is turn the engine on, let the engine warm up and lift the hood to see if it is spinning. if its not than its the fan. if the water and oil are flowing fine and the fan is working than it is the radiator.

Radiators tend to get plugged up over the years. He needs to take the truck to a radiator shop to have the radiator core boiled out or replaced.

tell him to flush out the whole cooling system, especially the radiator.
