Trying to eat healthier. What should I get from the supermakret?

Okay, I'm going to kick my healthy eating/exercise routine into gear. I'm going to start simple. I'll be walking most of the week and biking around the park with family on Saturdays. But I'm having a problem here.

I know what to eat and what not to eat, I just don't know what kinds of things I should get to create simple and nutritious meals to make.
I want to keep everything as simple as possible. What kinds of fruit, veggies and other things should I get?

Also, are those crystal light single packets pretty good?
 
one of the best thing to do is stock up on fresh fruits and veggies. Always way better than canned. Grill chicken breast either with lemon/pepper or even a light teriyaki. You can still have pasta, rice, starches but in moderation. Drink water----tea is good too. My favorite is club soda with a slice of lime.

With the exercise routine you want to do---everything should work out!
