Two-Handed Weapons or 2 Destruction Spells?(Skyrim)?

I really like the mechanic about mixing together 2 Spells and i Really like Two-Handed weapons...ok so the reason i have not yet chosen 2H Weapons is that they "look" like they won't have cool skills.I have the game and i have not yet played it can someone tell me if 2H weapons look cool or have more vareity in skills?
