Two supervisors are OFFERING me to each other,instead of arguing what should I do?

ok I got the green light to work with one supervisor, then the department emailed me saying someone else wants me as well.
NOW,
instead of arguing over me they suddenly BECAME CURTIOUS and emailed me copying the other person saying IT should be in my interest to work with the other person....and I want to work under THIS GUY not his colleage!!!
HELP,WHAT SHOULD I write?
 
Write two emails, and copy the other supervisor in, stating that you appreciate the offer, but you have decided to work under THIS GUY.
Word each one appropriately.

I have no idea why they approached it this way, but if you have a choose, pick the one you think best for yourself.
