I have tried deleting the upper-lower filters; and tried updating lg dvd writer firmware(which says no source device found).Any suggestions wud be welcome.   thanxjust checked and found no upper lower filter listed under ( {4D36E965-E325-11CE-BFC1-08002BE10318} entry ; under classes. Cud this be causing issues?but if the problem is with the cables how wud the bootable cd/dvd's  work?</blockquote>
