...has slight learning difficulties? Someone in my partners workplace was rude to him, so he complained to the manager. The manager refused to hear his complaint because he says that person has a slight learning difficult. My partner was unaware of this as it does not show. He has now been suspended because of this. He has done nothing wrong! How is this equality? Equal oportunities state that we must treat everyone equal, so why could the manager not approach this person and talk to them.
Isn't this breaching equality? He has to explain his self at a meeting on monday and I'm going with him with the equality act, so any advice I could take with me would be good.
