Usa and social justice?

Is the USA being quite smart with its justice system?, for a number of years now most prisons in the States have allowed internet access to its inmates and allowed them to join various jail mate dating sites. All adverts have a picture and must have the sentence received on display on the profile. Most are imprisoned for violent crimes including rape sexual assault statutory rape child molestation armed robbery and battery. You name it it's on display. Isn't this a good way of duping prisoners into posting their own faces with the crimes they committed for the general public to view? If it was planned as that i think its an excellent idea. What do you think?
