(extensive damage)? We found this car on the internet and tomorrow we are thinking of looking at it at the dealership. It is priced at $14,980 mileage 78,571. leather interior, "luxury-looking", front-wheel drive, 5 speed automatic, 3.5L v6 cylinder. it is Toyota ceritified and the carfax looks good. the only problem is the history of the car accident that happened this year, "Accident reported Involving front impact Extensive damage reported".
the front of the car looks like it's fixed up good, it's not a total loss, guaranteed no salvage, junk, etc. but my question is, do you think it's a good idea to buy it even though it had extensive damage in the front? we don't know what happened to it, but when we are at the dealership, would the car dealership give us information and details of that accident report?
If that car is just not what we wanted, we looked at a used 2003 Toyota Camry LE, no accidents, 2.4L 4 cylinder, automatic, mileage 37,914 priced at $11,980, carfax report good, no damages, but no indication of toyota certified, but front wheel drive.
so what is your opinion on our car choices? what is your opinion on pre-damaged used cars? should we get the used damaged car? which car would be a better choice? why?
you don't have to answer all of these but it would help my family a lot. our car broke down and we need a new car quickly because my dad needs one to go to work everyday.
Both of these cars are at the same dealership
