Using Rogers SIM card with a Fido iPhone? please help!?

Ok so i bought my friends iphone and it is with fido but has 2.2.1 software so i cant unlock it and it is with fido and i noticed it will work with other fido SIM cards without unlocking and since rogers and fido are basically the same company would it work with a rogers sim card? i just dont want to buy a rogers sim card and have it not work. thankyou. easy ten points to best answer
 
HI no rogers sim wont work in iphone without unlocking it from fido .You can easily unlock your iphone form fido network lock with the help of providers like TheUnlockSpot.com here they are providing remote unlocking service to unlock all model iphone from network lock .After unlocking the iphone you can freely use it with any GSM sim ..
