Vacation ideas for a family?

My extended family (4 brother's and sister's and their kids plus possibly grandparents) are going on vacation in June. My Aunt has is a member of some club/organization that lets her get access to time shares across the U.S. We don't really know where to go though. Orlando, California, and Cruises are out of the picture. We don't want to spend A LOT of money and want to stay in the U.S. or the Gulf of Mexico area. We would really like a beachy place to go to if possible. Any suggestions? BTW age ranges from 8 to 70's. Thanks!

You guys can split up once you get there. Kids goes with kids (if you want) and adults sit back and do other things.

If you stay at the resort, I'm sure there's a poolside somewhere you can lounge around for a few hours...

You don't mention where you are from, but the time shares sound like the best idea.
